Amy had a snowboarding accident Saturday and was airlifted to a hospital in Allentown for testing. This is the scary part. The rest is good news. Although no one saw what happened, and she doesn't remember, her concussion is apparently fairly mild and she was released the next day. She has no other injuries beyond a sore back. We brought her home for a few days for the more official kind of observation (the Mom kind).
It was a long day and today we feel a little like we are hung over (without the benefit of a good buzz yesterday) but Amy seems to be doing well so far. We think we will probably feel she can go back to Kutztown before the weekend.

More details as we talk with you all! She doesn't remember her first helicopter ride either and I figure she's going to wake up screaming with a nightmare in the next few days so I'd better get some rest to prepare for that.
