Ryan Christmas Party Plans!

OK--the clock is counting down on the Ryan Christmas Party next Sunday Jan 6 1 PM at my house. Chris is planning to do some rib eye on the grill for us (lucky us!--thank you Chris) and I think we'll plan to eat around 3 PM. So come along whenever you can.

If you want to bring something, dessert would be great. I will try to email "the kids" again but please feel free to remind them. I did hear back from Amanda that she plans to come; I expect Jess and the family. Kevin said he could not make it.

Looking forward to a great time and hoping there's not another Sunday snowstorm next week! Be there or be square!

Hello All! Hope everyone had a good Christmas. We did. Bill, Amanda and Sophie are still in South Carolina with Amanda's parents. Sophie has started to stand and crawl! She is a very busy girl. I tried to download a picture to this thing, but I don't know how. Sorry.

Going to Ryan's game today. Hope they win!

I talked to Kathy today and it sounds like she has had good contact with us in the last few days, so that is good. We have just returned from Long Island which was a fun time -- even if I'm not allowed to participate in the singing!!

I'm sure you'll all want to know that Oscar (the only cat left after the 3 others disappeared) had to go to the vet emergency room over Christmas due to bladder issues. Currently he's "post-op" but we'll get him tomorrow. We don't really want to talk about it but he's the most expensive cat we've ever had!

Chris--Ryan is wearing a ladybug costume. Yes, a ladybug costume and he WANTED to have his picture taken with it!!

Thinking of Kathy this week

Happy birthday Kathy. I hope it was a good one! All is well here. Ryan's team gave Delhi a run for its money last night--it was a great game! He plays in Walton over the vacation in a tournament.

Is everyone done with their Christmas shopping, baking, decorating, wrapping...well, you get the idea. We really enjoyed the card from Chris and Lori!!

I'm so glad they are both home now!

Well, since we didn't get a Christms picture taken this year, I am sending you an electronic form of the traditional picture for the Christmas cards...even though I hope you all have yours by now!

We brought Amy home yesterday; and as you can see Ryan is very happy to have her home. We have been having family time while this alleged storm peters out all around us. I hear some of the rest of you have gotten it lots worse.

Looks like we will be heading to Long Island on Sunday and will return before Ryan's basketball practice on Wednesday. Looking forward to seeing everyone either for Christmas or on January 6!!

Reward for Looking Up

Somewhere along the way, I saw one of those cheesy mystery movies and the thief was successful because "no one ever looks up". And it's true for the most part, but today I was driving back from Sidney on the Back River Road. I looked up and saw this eagle. How cool is this? An eagle rigth there in Bainbridge.
