Signing Off
Kermit the Frog (as Bob Crachit in the Muppet Christmas Carol) says something like "Life is a series of beginnings and endings." Wise words. I've decided to stop writing the Dalpiaz and Ryan family blogs and concentrate my efforts instead on the Gathering the Cousins blog. The original intent of the blogs was to share family history discoveries that you readers could take at your own pace. This is post # 470 and after seven years, it's time to move that forward to a more public forum, which is what the Gathering the Cousins blog is. I hope you'll find time to read that.

I must admit, I'm very sad about this. But I understand. You have done a great job with this blog. Thanks for the memories!
How approrpriate that you would put a video clip of a parade! Dad loved a parade! Maybe that was his military background coming through... I've never seen the fishing one!
I will definately miss this.
